Please help give me a clue

language is the definition
and an anagram is involved

It would have helped those of us without the crossword if you'd given the clue.

You need to give the clue itself, the number of letters required and any letters that you already have.
Not just a reference to the number of the clue
As it happened, I had the puzzle in front of me, so could give you the hint you required , but not everyone has the crossword.
