16a: Are you sure that this clue shouldn't read "Belgian " instead of "British"?
It is the only way I can make sense of it?

Br - British
and -with

In the paper, the clue has "Belgian"
also 'a' missing from the brandade clue

12a "....with a 50% off ......

OOPS Sorry you are right it should be BELGIAN not BRITISH.
