I'm stuck on 20d. Theatre group - 11 say (7). 11ac is HARM. I've got RE??N?T that I'm fairly happy with but can't find a word to fit. Any thoughts, anybody?

REP UNIT

11 is the definition

Theatre = REP

Group = UNIT

Thank you brendan. That mostly makes sense but the clue indicates 7 letters, not 3,4. Where does HARM fit in?

Hi Andy, the answer is REPUNIT

Definition:- Any positive integer that consists entirely of the digit 1 repeated eg 1, 11, 111 etc.

I only split it in two to demonstrate the parsing. Harm is a red herring because it makes you think the answer has something to do with 11a, but it doesn't - '11, say' is just an example of a REPUNIT.

Thanks brendan, that makes sense now. REPUNIT is not in my Oxford paper or electronic dictionary. Indeed, the Solution Wizard here on the forum didn't find it. Ta for your time and trouble. Andy
