Just one to go, one of the two longest answers! It comprises two words, totalling 15 letters. Being the Skeleton, there is no indication of the amount of letters in
either word!
The clue is:- "Old king superior to city leader" and I have
all the letters that are available. -R-V---L---L-N- (2 words)
The middle letter "L" should be correct, and is the start
of a three letter word, which I believe to be "LAD", the clue
for this being:- "A young man put one away".

I've seen this answered as Grover Cleveland.

It's G - king+ Over, superior, and Cleveland, city.
GC was the President, USA, so 'leader'.

Glad I could help - by passing on the answer! (I might have managed it anyway, but we'll never know.)
