Thanks, tomsdad. I had the same solution to 9D. I needed an L, in the corrections yesterday, and assumed, wrongly it came from this clue! (I didn't bother getting them all once I knew what I was collecting.)

That's interesting. I'm currently considering racker = jog.

Still nowhere with bottom left corner but I'm wondering whether the definition for 34d is bay.

How about "Welcoming renegade, revolutionary provided guns with faith (5)"?

Hi Orson,

For 34d I have a misprint in 'bay'.

For 37a there is a misprint in guns.

Can anyone help me with 2d: 'Corinthian land originally colonised by pilgrims'?

2d is a religious person from Corinth long ago, ER???US. I cannot get the wordplay.
