Hi again cloverjo, that was a possibility I hadn't considered and as I have/had an unmatched "u", thank you.

I have the grid done and extra letters in two categories.
They seem like two phrases. I did not have to rearrange them.

Clarification please.
It says "when rearranged", so anagram these 22 letters to make new words?

I see a seven letter surname in the grid.
I have no idea who that person could be.

A couple of persons come to mind but until I anagram these letters...

Is it too soon to ask how many words to make? I did try anagram maker but too many choices.

5 words. The surname is indeed 7 letters. If you look at the puzzle title it tends to be associated with ........

The name and remake gave me an idea of what it could be.

So without finding the anagram, when I replaced the seven letters with the Remake letters, I get all real words.

Now to work backwards to see if I can find the anagram.
