After a couple of successful days I came to grief on this one. Lots unsolved including:
29a. Most of his biscuits lack it in Mallow (8). -i---c--.

Presume Kim is in there.
15d Go on the Clyde with idiot, getting access to boat (9). G-n-p----.
18. Energy and speed unchanged? Result: stress (8). Answer Emphasis but can't parse it.
24d. One American IT company turned up some poetry (5). I----.
27d. Protest strongly about story-teller (4). ---r.
Clearly not on right wavelength today.

18. E - energy, MPH, miles per hour,speed + As Is, unchanged.

27. Liar, storyteller. It's Rail, protest strongly, backwards('about").

29, Hibiscus?

15, Gang plank.

29. Hibiscus, I think. Maybe it's a mallow, flower?

I can see that plank is idiot in 15d but why Gang?
