Kirky, the 15 letters are supposed to help us complete the sentiment - but they aren't really necessary! The title is a big hint, Uplifting (UP Lifting)...

alwayspuzzled .... I already have the perimeter filled in ...and as I said in previous post I have the ending of the song seen in 3 columns.... just wondered how the 15 letter message helps?

Kirky, the message sends you back to the clues - then just follow (upwards) what the message says.

Ah! Thanks Malone... although there are 2 "some" in grid and 2 "day" ... think I'll go with the vertical ones

yes the 3 vertical is neater - in order from left to right - in line with the Uplifting.

The only thing I cant see is what letter is misprinted as e in the 13th Down clue

I think it's in Fist- otherwise that word makes no sense in the clue.

Completed grudgingly without any problems this week and have the 15 correct letters but don't see how they relate to the grid (it doesn't really matter I suppose).

Pity you don't have to shade in the last 3 words of the phrase.

Is it me or is this EV considerably easier than no.1269? I gave up, reluctantly, on that one...
