I'm stuck in the SW corner. Can't get 19 D (Lengthen pecker? Much of it involves hassle) -E---C- Tried coc(k) and dic(k) but neither offers much hope. Also can't get 24A (which crosses with it) (Region of mediocrity decentralised America) --P-A. Ought to be obvious, but somehow isn't, not to me anyway. The wordplay would imply --PAA but if that's a region somewhere it wasn't in geography O-Level all those years ago.
