Many thanks for that Sudokulover. The final grid is now complete.

I've completed the grid and the endgame but, as usual I can't parse all of the entries so any help would be appreciated:

22d - dumdum

26d - senora

22 What's slung from the south? (6) Dumdum - just Mud, what's thrown and reversed, 'from the south'. As it's thematic, the clue's only to half of the word.

26 Dig this title - it could become grandiose (6) Senora - the letters in Dig added to Senora and anagrammed give Grandiose.
