Have solved most of the puzzle. Not looked at the end game yet.

Need help with these two.

The clues may have an extra letter in the word play.

Indeed, the word has to be Worsen.

But it helps if the extra letter is O.
Crossword dictionary gives WON for dwelling.
So I get the O that fits the message.

I have the relevant name as 12 (including an initial), not 11, letters ?

For once I have not had much trouble in completing the grid but the endgame is proving very elusive. I can see two letters diagonally in the very top left corner which are appropriate but which could be a red herring. I have also looked at various cast members from the film from which the quoted work comes but to no avail although one of them has the appropriate two letter abbreviation in his name but not together. Time now to think about work so it will be back to this later.

alwayspuzzled.... if you have the phrase that the extra letters spell out , google it for the author....you should then see him down the diagonal from top left....

sorry alwayspuzzled ....missed out what you really need......for the 2 letter abbrev (what comes next in the lyric?)...then look down that relevant diagonal for the 2 letters that need to be changed
