Assume every one has finished as no posts. Completed grid and shaded cells but cannot see how to choose between the clashes. Help please!

Thank so Malone but still don't get what I have to do. The pream says enter in keeping with theme. Sorry, must be being thick.

Have you got the main theme? The clashes simply need to be entered in the correct order, to relate to the theme, the words we've entered across the bottom, the 13 referred to in the title.

As so often happens, I've got the theme and almost all the clues and clashes, but two clues (10d and 11d) are evading me, and perhaps I have not quite got one of the across clues that intersects with them. Aargh. Fun puzzle though.

And 33, where I have a letter in every cell but not the answer :feeling very thick:

10d has a clash with 18a
11d has a clash with 25a so maybe your letters are correct.....

33d clashes with 44a C in 33d, S in 44a

Cool, those are where I thought the clashes were, I just cannot make a word that fits and makes any sense lol.

10d "Wench scrubbing borders above mounted festoon" which I have assumed was ENC followed plus a word for mounted that starts with A, clashing with G from 18a, meaning festoon.

11d "Enticed female individual to go topless without fuss" which I think has a Y at the end clashing with N from 25a, but for the life of me cannot think what the answer is.

Also dont have 28 down about the sugar making waste.
