Quite a few still to do and I'm stuck! Explanations as to how you arrived at the answer please......
A) One retired, retreating from a carnivore (4) D?E?
B) Turn of hand and turn of string (3) ??P
C) A hundred anonymously locked into vigil (9) ??P?N???E
D) Mass of sand was deposited in part of river, barring entry (7) ??T???H
E) Ape, behold the man? Not half, twice! (4) E???. Is it ECHO? If so, why?
F) Halter cut up in a minute or two (4) ???N
G) Given a place in the cabinet? (5) F?L?D. Surely not FILED as in filing cabinet????
