Is the last letter of 29a and 22d two different letters ie. Is the crossword wrong or am I just plain daft after yesterday's excesses and can't see what's in front of my nose.

Those of us without the crossword cannot help unless you give us the clues

29a. Union men back scheme meant, say, for number out of work (12). ?N?M?L?Y?E??.For which I have unemployment.
22d. Note large bird coming up for email wee drop(7). D?I?B??.For which I was putting dribble. Giving an e and t sharing the same square.

I don't know what "email" is doing in the clue, though.

A wee drop. Don't know where email came from sorry.
