Please help. I have a clue of entangle (7) and I have e?b???l which I believe would be embroil however that means my last clue doubly (5) is t?o?o which doesn't seem to make sense.

With more letters twofold?

I thought of fragile but that still gives me an l at the end of entangle which leads me to embroil. If it is embroil then doubly (5) would be t?i?o. Think I might just admit defeat.
