No worries, I have missed many an answer that looked clear afterwards !

I have the theme but still struggling with quite a few clues:

14a only 1 word fits my letters but I can't see the parse CH????G?E
(clue was Level field acre's left wild again)

2d Old rector pouring whole drink (6) O???A?
7d Old timer's giving sucker a title of honour held by Italian (6) A???N?

14 Champaign is the field - I didn't parse the rest, but you'll have the entry.

2 D. The 'whole' is the thematic word, needing changed. The answer is a drink - O/ld and R/ector+ a four-letter word for 'hole'.
