We are having a practice for Christmas dinner later today. We've done this for some years now. We have a goose on Christmas Day itself, but my wife in particular thinks Christmas is incomplete without a turkey, so we have some people (friends of our daughter, in fact) round for turkey dinner the Saturday before Christmas.
