How did you know that 5 and 12d were supposed to be altered if you haven't entered them? Just curious. :)

Ros, read aloud the answers (to the clues) for 5 Down, 10 D and 45 A if you have it. Something should strike you. The same goes for 12 D, but my accent meant that one wasn't so obvious!

I have 5 dn and 10 dn, going to make my dinner saying them. Also have 1 ac but can't imagine a homophone for that. Are what is entered real words?

No, they aren't real words. Part of each (at the beginning in all cases) is replaced by something that sounds similar.

Just that I thought homophones were real words.

I think she was referring to my previous post, not saying that you told her they were real words, syzzie.

The modified parts are real words, proper nouns.
