I get the 'Fruit' part, but why 'Chops'?

thesaurus shows Gob and Chops as synonyms for mouth etc.
ananas is a type of pineapple fruit

Chops = gob, Slang for mouth, as in "lick your chops".
Ananas is a fruit.
