Does anyone else have this problem? Nine times out of ten I cannot click the Add Post button. It is just dead and does not respond. All other things you have to click work fine. I have tried using an Apple Mac with Safari and Chrome and Windows 10 with Chrome and it makes no difference. I know it will not let you post something too soon after an earlier message but that is not the issue here.

I am going to have to give up posting here as it is too frustrating. It's a shame I'm not selling kitchens because then I would be able to flood the site with postings.

Has this just started to happen recently?


I have no problems - Windows XP (yes, really) and Chrome.

I always use "Reply to post", so it doesn't arise.

Both "Add Reply" and "Reply to post" work for me, although usually I use the latter.
Have you tried clicking on "Reply yo post", instead, Orson?

Whether I use Add Reply or Reply to this Post, it makes no difference as you still have to click the Add Post button at the bottom of the box in which you write the message. It is that that is dead for me most of the time. This is a problem that has been building up for me and getting worse.

elle, I have contacted ash and no one has been able to get to the bottom of it yet.

chrise, I don't understand how this cannot arise for you. Everyone has to type a message in a box and then click the blue button that says "Add Post" underneath it, regardless of what you clicked before to get there. It is that blue button this is dead for me nearly all the time.

This is the last time I shall post on here as I cannot spend so much of my weekends trying, trying, trying to get through. To be honest I've been fed up with the loud advert about quiches that starts up after 10 seconds whether I roll over of click anything or not. And yesterday on a few occasions I was taken out of this site and on to a full-screen advert. Don't these advertisers realise that I am far less likely to buy their products if they indulge in this annoying behaviour? I know this site has to be funded but there must be a limit on what is reasonable.

The blue "add reply" box often freezes on iPad. I use Firefox with Windows 10 on laptop with no problems ( and it has an ad. block)
