...I wouldn't have known about the River Ock except we had to sing a song at school (totally meaningless to me at the time) with the line "Isis or Ock or Thame, forget your olden name". As the late, great Bernard Levin said, no information is entirely useless. When I started to do crosswords, Isis appeared quite frequently!

New to me Rosalind but I canoed near Abingdon years ago. I assumed it was the Thames but maybe it was the Ock!

I've been out for most of the day but so far there are 15 clues from 11 setters. There's still plenty of time to go.
