As always I have ground to a halt on EV - lack of practice due to work commitments. 8 across - Performed shuffling 30s dance bent down under pressure - is eluding me. I have ?ag?ed and I know the extra letter is "h". Also is what needs to be shaded the unclued character below the venue? Any help would be much appreciated,

I've no longer got my grid, but I think you've got the right character for shading. It's six letters long and the shading is appropriate!
