26down here's a tip from most expats returning/ 4 letters/ a*e*

this is my last clue, most of the time I look at it, i think abet, I can't work out what that would have to do with expats or tips, I know a bet is different to abet, the expat has me confused then it could be some way an anagram of expats apex -expa

if anyone could explain this to me i would be so happy
