Alyssum is right.

The last three letters aren't clued by wordplay and are the beginning of the first word you need as per preamble.

I'm struggling this week with 29D "Clappers are indeed supporting nonsense". I have ?R?T??A. I believe the letter after T is either O or A . A hint would be welcome.

Hi truron, the first letter is "thematic", "a" is after the "t".
