4d/13 across O........o! Didn't Big Jack get a kick out of that old tictac? (4,4)

I can not make sense of it, there is another clue relating to Jack the cow boy ~ it's about Jack the giant killer and the beans if that helps

Are you sure of your letters? Big Jack Charlton was Irish manager (this is an Irish crossword) and was known for long ball tactics (tictacs is a jokey reference to them). O.........o could be a long "ball"
