44d. One's flown commercially in a US sitcom shown across Ireland (3,4)
I have A?R ?A?I
The flown bit makes the fist part look like AIR, but is the answer a trade name?

I think 'across Ireland' = reverse RI/Republic of Ireland to get IR, so A (in clue) +IR +Taxi. Air Taxi, one flown commercially

I just assumed it was right, it all worked out - and I've since checked Chambers. Air taxi is there, defined as a small plane or helicopter, usually doing short trips.
