You are right.I had put an I when it should have been an L
I now think that 26 d is Lava Can =Lav plus A for advanced

26 Lava, stream - Lav/can + A/advance. The clue is 'This stream can advance'.

Crossed posts - I don't know where your 'run' came from, but I checked the clue in my paper.
