I cannot find a word to fit the clue for 1 Down, which is:-
"Distributed, brought" , There are 9 letters and I have
-O---E-E-. The 4th. letter may well be !I", but it could also
possibly, at a push, be "O".

Hi there, Malone. If this SHOULD be the answer, it would make "Respectable, upright" (6) -E-E-T, for which I've put
in "HONEST".

On second thoughts, perhaps this one is "DECENT"?
