Stuck on 8D Midtown Morgan

Is there any way to get "ass" or "buttocks" from MORGAN? If there was then the answer could be HEINIE.

Keeping true to Myops' style, I'm assuming it's a small goat or similar animal, but can't find an appropriate solution.

Any hint's?

18D Thought along those lines at first but have gone for SCRAPE

OK, I've got it now. Nothing to do with animals, but a short line which butts up against a longer one.

Think typeface or font.

Better get it in the post before I change my mind on any answers!

Hmm, Chambers defines SCRAPE as "Thin-spread butter or margarine" so I think it's as good as the font related answer. Bit of a toss-up as to which is right.
