For anyone who doesn't know, You Tube links that don't open when copied require removal of the "s" in "https", then will work fine!

Yes, Paul - that certainly used to be the case, but when it was brought to Ash's attention, he fixed it - there doesn't seem to have been a problem for some time.

The bigger problem with YouTube now is copyright.
Videos will play on their home ground but not necessarily "across the pond", either way.

As most players, & winners, are in the UK this might be considered a moot * point. (-;

* Very interesting language difference.
Chambers: only "debatable".
NA dictionaries add the definition "inconsequential".
That's my drift. [Ch #19]

Morning, Syzygy & all!
Thanks for making that last point.
As an "expat" (for some rea son I hate that word) I prefer of course to find the point debatable but certainly not inconsequential (plus I didn't realize it had/has that other meaning in the States etc)!
Very often the prize cannot be seen here (as indeed other Youtube clips as well) for copyright reasons. Often very disappointing for me personally. Even if I'm in a minority of one (in Europe).
Despite all that, "have a nice day" (tho' I know some of you, quite understandably, hate that expression, too) !!!

I think that the original meaning of "moot point" is the "decided, so no reason to discuss" one. I don't know how the opposite meaning came to be attached to the phrase!

Probably the same grammar variations by which one side of the pond uses "different from" and the other uses "different than".

One way around the copyright problem is to use a VPN:

Also good for security. Ironically, I can't open the FAQs. Probably because of Adblock.

A list:
