One infuriating to go. 12d. With the o or O inserted, cannot find anything in Chambers toi deal with the clue: Climbing vents in castle walls, one devoured plunder. I have s-oo-i-te. Clearly plunder is loot. Also cannot find 2d in Chambers either! Any help appreciated.

2d is a word for straight-haired with an added letter at the second place.

My problem is with 26a. I have RO?IARA and need to add two Ps. But can't make anything from it.
