I'm having trouble with the parsing.

bacoN WRAPped, anag. Scruffy clue.

37 nwrap is hidden in the clue
Anagram of nwrap : prawn : seafood

19 'Severest' would be the most taxing, then drop the first letter ('when the top's obscured' ) to get Everest.

37 Prawn is sort of hidden - bacoN+WRAPped. 'Around' meant we were to anagram this, to get Prawn. This is an explanation I saw yesterday, hope I've got it right!
