Is 21d two words or is it a variation of a word normally ending in gal but this time ending in gle. Don't want to give too much away!

21 It is not two words, it's one word ending in 'gle' . It is in Chambers so it is totally fine.

For those of you without the crossword, this is a thematic puzzle and 21 D is an unclued answer.

I need some help identifying the 8 clues. I have the title and can spot three of them (28a, 4d & 27d). Can someone please give me clues as to the other five. It would be much appreciated.

the 8 clues with "missing word play letters" are 26a,28a,3d,4d,15d,19d,27d,29d
Some overlap in the grid.
The 9 letters to be highlighted are in 2 rows of the grid split 4,5

if you have the album at 1d and the group at 12d, google them and you will soon find the track title.
