Only two to go, 17D "Job to follow !" E***E*. And 19 A "Even so, the further one's getting support ". *H** / * A *D. Further clues appreciated

My last two as well, Devonian. Still not sure how 19 works (apart from the last 3 letters), but for 17, think of alternative meanings of "Job" - I thought this was a cracker when I got it, as were several others this week.

17D: try a list of books of the Bible.......

btw when researching this, I discovered that the Catholic Old Testament has 7 more books than the Protestant one - see

19A: It's two words meaning "even so"....but if you punctuate it differently, ie put in an apostrophe, it means getting support......

I did think of the apostrophe version for 19, but "the further one's" still doesn't make sense for me, Probably overthinking it.
