Puzzled by what is being said here. I sometimes do not get the paper due to weather/transport problems.
I log on to the online version and then onto the puzzle page. I highlight the word etc and print it . I then use this to send my entry. I have maybe got it wrong but are you saying this is not acceptable.

I also have an online account with the Herald so that I can get the normal crossword when there are no papers, but the Wee Stinker isn't available on the puzzle page.
