Thank you Malone & Trevor but I still can't understand the alamort and emrys answers. What does LAM mean and how did you come up with the answer of EMRYS Trevor?

raised can mean backwards, in a down clue.
'say, from bed' raised = deb morf yas.
'on a regular basis' means take every other letter from 'deb morf yas'.

lam means to hit or strike something or someone.
