Thank you muraria! Because I had the theme up front I was assuming the first letter began the clue answer. Have you found the eighth item? If so, can you give me a shove....our village is flooding again and I may just have to add more gopher wood to my Ark.

Eighth item runs diagonally opposite to the "originator" and starts third cell of 10th row.....think Skippy !

Has anyone solved 8d yet? Eastern porter clutching base of claret filled vase. One letter needs changing to 'a'. I have hae_al. No blanks in this one.

Also don't understand significance of title.
