I appreciate each judge has their own requirements and I prefer unravelling clues myself. For those who have provided parsing please rest assured should I have failed to have done so or have been unsure I would have asked for an explanation or clarification rather than ignore or discard such a clue (each such entry has not been discriminated against).
Of the devices on offer (I won't mention names, you know who you are) there are both regular and subtractive anagrams, puns, topping and tailing, containers, use of notes and airport codes, compounds, initialisation, substitution, homophones and downright cryptic definitions; a truly superb range.
I have a shortlist which I'd like to give more consideration to and hopefully I'll be back shortly with the result.
