That's time up folks and thank you for all your entries.
I appreciate each judge has their own requirements and I prefer unravelling clues myself. For those who have provided parsing please rest assured should I have failed to have done so or have been unsure I would have asked for an explanation or clarification rather than ignore or discard such a clue (each such entry has not been discriminated against).
Of the devices on offer (I won't mention names, you know who you are) there are both regular and subtractive anagrams, puns, topping and tailing, containers, use of notes and airport codes, compounds, initialisation, substitution, homophones and downright cryptic definitions; a truly superb range.
I have a shortlist which I'd like to give more consideration to and hopefully I'll be back shortly with the result.

Again, many thanks for all your entries. It was a most enjoyable way to spend a few hours with the hard part reducing them to a shortlist and deciding on a winner.

Almost inevitably, I am impressed with both BBM2's precision combined with smooth surface, your Berlin Wall at the very least returns place money, and ab's ingenuity. I also liked stevea's &lit initials, fiery's Leicester (they're still top) and mattrom's clever use of Spooner (I'm not normally a fan). Of the license clues, which I did expect, I think BBM2's offie comes together best.

I have tried to post the rest of my post in segments without punctuation but to no avail and drained my battery in doing so. This site is STILL anything but mobile friendly. I will try again shortly.
