Does anyone know what will happen to the Inquisitor when the Independent stops printing next month?

Hi tomsdad, nobody knows as yet whether it will be available in the online edition. I've been sent this link from Nimrod to petition to save it. Please sign up and pass this link to others you know might be interested.

Best Inquisitor of the year so far, IMO, but I certainly can't fit words of 4 to 12 letters legibly in single cells! Seems like making an enlarged copy of the grid is required. Or are there abbreviations for the thematic words of which I am unaware?

I just drew little lines out from the cells and added the names outside the grid.

With the imminent loss of the printed Independent, this could very well be the best Inquisitor of 2016! I'll be sad if we lose this much-prized puzzle. I've signed the petition but don't really expect much from that.

Yes, noticed some sloppy clueing in this one too, for example the missing anagram indicator in 6 down :-(

Just to tidy up the loose ends, PRIME = PLUM and the 2 groups are 10 and 6 with COMMAND TUBE leading to a single weapon :-)
