12A - Eating food of both animal & vegetable origin, or any food indiscriminately (9) O?N??O??S. Answer should be OMNIVOROUS, an adjective but only OMNIVORES fits, a plural noun which doesn't really fit in with the clue. Any thoughts?

Try omnivorus (Latin for all-devouring) ?

'or it may just be an error by the setter

Tend to think it's an error by the setter as there is no allusion to Latin in the clue.
