Good Morning, I have finished today's crossword and assuming I am correct, there is one answer that I do not understand and I would appreciate an explanation.

One outspoken lady (4) ?N?E I have got ANNE but cannot see why. Sorry to be so thick.

I got the N from the clue 'A few words could be fine' - SENTENCE and the E from 'Money spinner' ROULETTE WHEEL.

It's a bit feeble, but it might be a "sounds like" "an" (one)

poor clue but Anne vaguely sounds like "one" / an .....
