Still trying to catch up after Christmas & New Year break - don't know whether anyone is still working on this one?
Have over half of the answers, but none of the six cryptics.

It would be useful to get a hint on the long down entry (11) then I might be able to start populating the grid.

* I'm entering storage unit when people used to relax
* Grant, perhaps, administrative trainee identity for supportive female
* Dancer is a TV channel dream, initially, when making a comeback
* Topless celebration of summer in LA
* Godlike Glaswegian loved one with bottle
* Unforgiven, perhaps, bachelor leaves hat
* Scots call horse to stop run in number two
* Prophet every now and then needs to get angry (two words)
* Writers are trapped at first in bars that offer relief
* Agreement to keep captive absent king for a very long time

Any hints on any of the above would be helpful

Hello Crackability,

Long down answer (11) is a small handtool

I'm entering...you inside a computer storage unit
Grant...first name of famous hollywood actor (Audrey Hepburn?) followed by AT and then abbreviation for passport perhaps
Dancer....TV channel is the one where all old repeats are shown (on Sky, I think) then written backwards
Topless...Glastonbury for example without the first letter
Godlike.....of Jupiter. Scottish beloved followed by small medicine bottle
Unforgiven...another name for a western (based on a cereal)

Hello again,

Scots....run is R inside a term for what you might do when you go to the loo
Prophet....another name for a prophet followed by odd letters of NEEDS, def is get angry
Writers....I'm not sure of the parsing but you're looking for a word for a writer of perhaps religious documents. Might be sort of using a farm vehicle??
Agreement...long time is def. Agreement with abbreviations for absent and king inside

Hi crackabilly

There is another (short) thread on this puzzle on this site if it's of any help. I gave up on this one because once I found out what was going on, what the mix was, I discovered that there are so many variations and lack of general consensus that researching the answers was going to be a slog. And I'm no expert by any means on the theme.

Thanks pkd - lots here for me to work on!

Thanks orson - I'm not at the stage yet where I can determine the theme - but will pursue it a little bit longer

Got a full grid that hangs together well - but what a slog (despite all the help).

Need to go back through the cryptics and try and work out the relevant surname

Having zero joy with this.
The 6 cryptics I worked out deduction rather than the clues, so don't know where to start - will put this one away and wait for the solution to be revealed on Sun

I am at the same stage as Crackability. For the name I have Fa?l?? but some of the ingredients I have been able to find for the other mixes to do not match the letter count given in the clues. A nudge in the right direction would be welcome.

I have just had a further look at this. Are we looking at an anagram of the seventh unclued enrty plus the six letters generated from the clues? If so, I can find the name of a Spanish author.
