Gala pie is an oblong shaped pork pie with hard boiled egg in the middle choosytoo.

Unless you get the slice with no egg in it.

Whenever I have had gala pie, it has had an elongated egg inside - makes me wonder what sort of hen it is that lays such a very long egg. The advantage, for us humans, is that everybody gets a piece of egg in their slice of gala pie. You should go to Waitrose, Mamya.
