I know that we have plenty of time to complete this
crossword before submission date but can I just ask
if we are looking for 2 or 3 authors?

Having trouble at 18d - "Talking wildly, ring house". I have ?a?r?s but can't seem to parse it. A hint would be greatly welcomed.

Talking is a homophone indicator, wildly is superfluous.

Still working my way through the puzzle & would appreciate
some help.
For those without the crossword some clues contain a
superfluous word.

50d Peer eagerly over endlessly fat, soft flesh (8) starts with E

51d Basely dismissing bishop for tirade, extremely
rudely (10) i ???????l?

69d Prophetic individual managing to arrest witness (9 -
hyphened) ?C???????

50. A four letter synoym for peer (nobility)+ four letters of a word for fat/very fat. We all have the soft flesh.

69 Your 'c' is wrong. I think 'individual' is superfluous (I didn't collect them all). The split is 3-6, and it's just a synonym for 'prophetic'. It has the usual three-letter word for 'witness' inside a six-letter word for 'managing'.
