Last two clues to solve!
1) Stanley's presumptive search first found Jonty (7 letters
2) Heard to see two loves of United Kingdom (6 letters)

Thanks in advance.

Yes, just about to come in with CUCKOO - that's two C's + two O's + UK all scrambled up!

If Stanley's presumptive search refers to the 1925 film The Presumption of Stanley Hay, MP, then HAYBIRD (the European spotted flycatcher) is a possibility.

And I'm struggling with Jonty Rhodes being referred to as "Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's Jonty" s well as the serach for the source of the Nile!

No crossers?

Isn't the source of the Nile the letter "N"?
