Can anyone solve dis anagram, please?

I fear you may have gone wrong somewhere - you have an anagram of twelve letters of which only two are vowels.

I know of only one word fitting that description - SPENDTHRIFTS - but it ain't an anagram of PSSTCURSNERD!!

If anybody has any others I would be pleased to know (without straying into foreign languages!).

What is the clue?

I assumed chamberlains was part of the anagram!

You could be right but then the anagram would mean psst curs nerd which is a somewhat tortured meaning very little!!
