Fit

Presumably, but an odd synonym for whim.

the occasional lesser degree of correctitude would be allowed. (makes you sound like a dominatrix).

Pcstuck,

That clue isn't in the Saturday edition of the Irish News, is it?

Or maybe I'm losing it!! My Saturday edition is missing three of the features I enjoy quite a lot: "Lives Remembered", Nuala McCann column, and a Prize crossword. There was a Double Crossword but it didn't have that clue.

Did I miss notification of all these changes?
