A well-known quotation or phrase has been reworded below but the original meaning has been kept. Can you identify what it is?

Example: "lack of awareness brings elation" = ignorance is bliss

1.) "Straight away leaving the fence portal"

I want to say "now for something completely different" but can't see how portal would be completely different!

not sure I understand how u got "now for something completely different".

How does that relate to the reworded phrase?

Straight away: now
Leaving the fence: for something

as I say, I can't see portal so it is probably something...completely different!

Wait a minute, I just thought of something...Fence portal is probably "front gate"

Isnt there a saying that is something like "right out the front gate" or sometin glike that?

First out of the gate?7
