Any help please. 30a Gives in profits.(6) I have yields but his doesn't fit in with 24d. Trees perplexed a guide. (5) I have steer for that. Has compiler made an error or have I?

It looks as though it is an error gramps apparently the online version is accepting "steed" for 24d)???

seen this discussed on another site. apparently the compiler has made a mistake and your answers are correct. If you submit 24d as steed it will be accepted according the DM editor

Yes, I confirm it has accepted my crossword on-line as correct using "steed" Never mind
