Has anyone else had a problem with this site on their I pad?
Mine has become increasingly unstable.
Also adds flash up everywhere and if you are not careful you click into their site.this is getting worse and is ruining an excellent site.Any advice please.

Without them this site would not exist.

The ads are now almost completely taking over on iPad and there is about an inch of visible space. I can only use the site on my iPad for a limited time with the ads all over the screen. If they are too intrusive, install the block as per the link below. http://www.speedmeup.net/

I had the Ads running this morning on iPad, but when trying to open Celadon's thread, it triggered an NHS Ad which overtook the whole screen. After 3 attempts, I had to use the blocker. I am now on laptop.

Thanks for your comments, we're seeing what we can do to tone this down.

To take a screenshot press the home & power buttons together, it will save the screenshot in your photo library .

I am now back on iPad for the first time since my last post.
At the moment, the "rising" flashing Ad that was previously at the bottom of the screen(Listerine Ad) is not there at all, so the screen is much improved. if and when it makes a return, I'll take a screenshot.

Thanks very much for your comments jazz girl .Ash I have e mailed you re this before.At this moment the site has calmed down and is more stable.
Sometimes the keyboard itself is unstable when typing in answers.
However touch wood it is a lot better today!
Have you considered making a paid for version of your app with fewer adds like some other sites which offer both paid for and free apps.

Let's not forget that this is an excellent aid to crossword lovers.

i am pleased to say the Ads are much less intrusive today and so there is no need to use the blocker. ;)

I don't have any i-Thingies so can't test it, but I installed Ghostery (https://www.ghostery.com/en/) on my browser (Opera / Mickey$oft Windoze) and it helps a lot.
